Welcome to Light Shoot Repeat. I’m Chris Montgomery, and I photograph people.
My name is Chris Montgomery, and I create professional headshot portraits and branding photography for dancers, performers, choreographers and creative professionals who are ready to elevate the imagery they present to the world.
The photos you choose to represent you and your brand, whether you’re a solo-preneur or running a large studio, say everything about how much you care and how dedicated you are to being successful in your area of expertise.
My goal is to learn about you and your goals with your business or career and create a customized approach to your photo session to help you achieve looks that communicate those objectives.
While that all sounds super serious, another of my goals with every photo session is for you to have fun!
I understand how intimidating it can be to get in front of the camera, so we will be laughing, playing your favorite music and having a good time, all while creating outstanding portraits of you.
As a portrait photographer, my expertise extends beyond simple studio headshots, and can include creative commercial concepts, outdoor or alternate location sessions and dynamic movement images in your location of choice.
I am dedicated to bringing your best images to life. Images that are not just visually stunning, but that resonate with the industry you are communicating to.

I’m a Scorpio to the bone, believe in karma and the existence of a universal stream of consciousness. I think everyone has untapped power and can achieve whatever they set their minds to.
I love dogs, and when i’m not behind the camera, I’m generally taking care of my dogs, Bailey (yellow lab) and Summer (golden doodle.)
I’m also a Dad, a husband and consider myself an artist at heart. Getting outdoors is essential for me, whether it’s the beach, the dunes or on a trail.
However, at some point I collapse and you’ll find me catching the latest episode of my current favorite series on Hulu.
